KMLOEC & City of Miami Parks Department Alice C. Wainwright Park Restoration Initiative

On February 22nd, KMLOEC and the City of Miami Parks Department Natural Areas Devision began a new collaborative initiative to restore a protected hammock at Alice C. Wainwright Park. With our Executive Board working closely with Natural Areas Aides Richard del Forn and Gloria Anita, we have established a new opportunity for local community members and youth to work together in order to help restore one of the few remaining hammocks in the Miami area.

We are excited to begin working together with local officials and making a difference through long lasting working relationships that foster change in our environment. Stay tuned to our event page for future collaborative projects and initiatives.
